MOUNT CLARE

In an effort to bring beauty to some of the largely vacant neighborhoods in Baltimore, Maryland my friends Nether, Carter Roach and I painted a series of three murals in different neighborhoods around the city. The focus was providing viewers with a window into the beauty of the natural world with a touch of surrealism to intrigue and inspire. In this 30’ x 16’ mural painted for the Mount Clare Community Council, a portal to the forest has opened in the wall of a house. Trees begin to extend their roots and a fox has ventured out into the urban landscape carrying a mysterious key. Painted with a combination of acrylic latex and spray paint.
